Disney’s Alice Through The Looking Glass – Trailer

alice_through_the_looking_glass

Alice Through The Looking Glass is the sequel to 2010’s Alice in Wonderland. Looking Glass reunites the cast from the worldwide blockbuster, including: Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter along with the voices of Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen and Timothy Spall.

The 2010 movie was a huge hit for Disney with a domestic gross of more than $334 million. While the sequel looks good, it’s possible that it’s been too long since the last movie for fans to remain interested.

Box Office, Maze & Mass Run to Top

The Maze Runner sequel, The Scorch Trials, took the top spot on the weekend Box Office List with $30.3 million. That’s slightly less than the first movie’s $32.5 million opening last year.

In 2nd place, Johnny Depp’s Black Mass, a movie about Whitey Bulger, took in $23.36 million. Although the story behind the movie sounds fascinating, I haven’t heard anyone say anything good about the movie.

The 3rd new release on the Top 10 list is Everest, a new thriller from Universal. The movie opened to a risky limited release on IMAX and premium large format screens (only). The risk paid off with the movie taking in $7.56 million, one week before it’s wide release.
